Thanksgiving in KC!

There's nothing like family, especially during the holidays. Half of my family lives miles and miles away in the mid-west, and this year, we decided to visit them for Thanksgiving! There are 5 Hupp children- each with children of their own- and some with grandchildren. Needless to say we are one big bunch of Hupps. :) We had a wonderful time at Aunt Amy and Uncle Fred's house for Thanksgiving dinner- they have a beautiful home in Kansas. The food was delish. We had baked turkey AND fried turkey along with all the fixins. Turkey dinner was followed by a big family football game in the backyard then decorating chocolate houses. We had a few more gatherings over the 5 days we were up there...Dinner and rock band at Uncle Keith and Aunt Lisa's, then dinner and football watching at Grandmother's. She has the best basement EVER! Lots of ping-pong...we also made some peanut-butter-birdseed-bagels to hang in the trees. My baby cousins loved it and we all got a little messy.

Uncle Fred and Katie high-5 as the "Tators" score a touchdown (that's a mix of the Gators and the Mizzou Tigers. Nice call Uncle Keith)

Our last full day was a white one- SNOW! Finally. The first snow of the season was brought on by a bunch of Floridians. So we had to go get some ice cream to celebrate... ;)
